Hi everyone,

Things have been really busy and exhausting but it’s all going well. I guess since the last blog I’ve done Wireless festival which was really cool. Although it was weird as we didn’t stay long. It kind of marked the beginning of a long weekend because we moved on to my old school, did a small show then went on to Hope Farm festival. It was really fantastic. We were there for the whole weekend and saw Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Mumford. It’s weird though as last year I was playing festivals and people didn’t really know who I was. This time there are people who know the words and have come especially to see me. I love it.

Then I had the iTunes festival last week. It was great and Paloma was lovely. She brings a certain quality to British female singer-songwriters that I think is necessary. A bit more cabaret. She’s really funny too.

But the album is out today and I’m really excited. Having never made an album before, it’s quite a scary place to be. It’s been five years in the making. Do I have favourite songs on there? Not really. I like the idea of each person making the song their own. I really do think there is a song on there for everyone. Someone who likes ‘Colourful Day’ may not like ‘Chasing Time…but please let me know what you think. I’d love to know….
